Teachers from schools entering students for the first time in the Beal Bank Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair can win too!
Fluor First Awards
Teachers eligible for Fluor First Awards will be from schools that have not have entered students in the DRSEF during the previous 3 fairs. (If no new schools enter students, the award will be given to a teacher who has not entered students before). Winning depends on how many students the teacher enters and how well they perform at the fair.
- $500 to the top eligible teacher in the Junior Division (Grades 6-8)
- $500 to the top eligible teacher in the Senior Division (Grades 9-12)
The announcement of the awards will take place each year at the Beal Bank Awards Luncheon in March at Southern Methodist University.
